Hi everyone....



Just wanted to share some pics of my "wet pets". I have a 125 gal FOWLR.
Attached are pics of my clownfish pair (female is B&W) .....coral beauty angel..... lunare wrasse..... and the latest addition is a dwarf hawkfish. Had to add a pic of the gramma who I lost a few months ago. I miss that fish...so much personality. She/he was about 3.5" when she suddently died. The last pic of the wrasse (we call him Looney the lunare) was taken last month. It shows how much his lyre tail has grown from the pic above/

wow thats a parrotfish right?? i didnt know they existed in the aquarium trade! i saw them on a diving show a while ago and thought they where the most amazing fish id ever seen!! this one was huge though,will yours get very big??
 
nvm! it does look awfully like a parrot fish though........lol :)

Actually he's a lunare (moone) wrasse. The big bad pit bulls that they are; mine gets beat up by the dwarf angel (now and then he'll fight back but not often). I feed 3 times a day and a large variety of meaty yummies so I think thathelps keep his mind occupied....plus, plenty of places to zoom around the tank, in and out of rockwork. I bought him from...believe it or not, a Petco for only $25. That was about a year and a half ago and he was approx. 3.5-4" then...now he is about 6" and the colors are alot more vibrant then when I first bought him. I'd love to have a parrot fish but they get WAY too big for my little 125 gal. :o)

Thanks....glad you enjoyed them! I have a glass aquarium.....not always perfectly cleaned but I do a quick sweep with the magnet..let things settle, and then start shooting. I have a Cannon EOS Digital Rebel XTi and I take ALOT of pics before I get the good ones. Believe it or not...the clowns are the hardest to shoot. I have no trouble with the wrasse or angel even though they zoom all over the tank. Once they see me......they're smack up against the glass begging for food! lol the new guy (hawkfish) loves to pose but I have yet to get a decent shot of him perched on the LR with his dorsal fins "spiked" up.
