You have some great looking fish 12 Volt... I've seen the pic of your barbs before, it almost looks photoshopped. lol Those guys will love their new tank!
yeah, sometimes I catch them sitting nose to nose lengthwise in the tank.
its scary when they do that because I really get an idea of how huge they are! In a 48 inch tank there is only about a foot of room left lengthwise..
one of these days I will capture it on film...
luckily, these guys are staying very healthy with a big water change once per week..

I am still not sure how I will do it.
normally, you put large fish into a cooler, with just enough water to cover them.
Problem is, just enough water to cover an 18 inch long fish that is 8 inches high is too heavy to carry already..even with two people..
I figure each fish would need close to 12-15 gallons of water to transport..which is a lot of weight to carry out to the car.
I could do the same in a large styro box lined with a big fish bag, but again, the weight of the water is going to be a big issue..
I will have to find some sort of a vessel that is long and tall but narrow..minimizing the weight for the short trip to whever the heck I end up moving to..

not very big. maybe a few inches, although he has grown a whole lot since I got him.
