I have purchased from this seller before and my fish came in fine. I must have gotten lucky also

lucky some, so many unlucky others. I'd rather go with more reputable dealers i.e. on simplydiscus.com sponsors.

Glad I did get lucky. Apparently, most people have had negative experiences, but I've heard a few positive ones, also. Next time, I'll probably get my discus from a local dealer. I ,recently, found a fish store in Salt Lake city, Utah that sells discus bred, and raised for generations in hard water(which I have, straight out of a well). I visited the retail location, and was surprised to see so many fish, in one place. I forget the name, but if you google salt lake city, utah fish stores, it comes up. It was once a wholesale only business, but they've opened up a retail store. Tons of fish! Lots of Cichlids. Tanks floor to ceiling, from one end of the building to the other. Very cool! Do your research!!!! Very important! Sometimes you find killer deals, just by asking around.
