Awesome!!!! Franksaquarium.com may be getting them in in two weeks, which gives me the perfect amount of time to get this tank set up and stable. Pictures forthcoming!
Well, let's hope they really get them in. I've decided in a 30 instead of a 29 thinking that they'd use the extra six inches of length more than the extra height. Settled on a group of boraras maculatus and urapthalmoides for the schoolers, but hopefully they won't just become expensive live food. I'll put some pics up once the tank is settled in.
Thanks for the info Lupin! Any other suitable tankmates aside from the parosphromenus and microrasboras? I am tempted to try a pair of betta albimarginata in the same tank, but am thinking it'd be better to focus my efforts on one rather than both. Still... It would be a really awesome looking tank with those 4 species. I will definitely be keeping a log of this project. The tank and driftwood are first order, as I have some seeded filters already. I'll work on plants and lights next week, and after that, the fish.
