Sponges in reef tanks?

Are we speaking about hitchhiking sponges or about large decorative sponges?
Forgive my curiosity - I never meet before information that keeping the large decorative sponges is easy or possible at all, in a long term for the most tanks - but who find them easy or possible, can you post pictures of your large decorative sponges in progress, say, with 1 yr difference? And FTS and advice how to keep them (what worked, what not, pitfalls).
Thanks.

The biggest worry i have found is that if you expose the sponge to air then place it in your tank: the trapped air in the sponge kills it and causes your tank to crash. When moving them it is wise to always keep them submerged.
