Starting a planted tank.

My temp dropped down 10* in my tank because the house heater was not working last night and helping with the temp in the tank. It went from 80* to 70* my betta looks a little sick I'm trying to bring it back up to temp.

Just an updated. I been doing about 6hrs of light a day and dosing c02 booster today started dosing florinmulti.

1/2 portion -flame moss

1-root plant not sure what kind

Wow, great work. Not too much and not too little. The black substrate looks really good with the bright plants.

Hey thanks. The flourimulti made my plants more healthy and more green. Just don't use to much.

Can't wait to see the tank when those plants take root. The green will pop more with brighter lights, but if you are dead set on a carpet, you will need another high contrast color to replace the black of the eco-complete. Cabomba furcata, maybe? :3

I know later on I want to get high light and co2 for it but for now it's just low tech.

Clean out the filer now I have a ton of bubbles from the spray bar and I got a coralife 10k light for it too.
