steelerfan's 30 Gallon Breeder Journal/Build

Good luck. I would definitely step off the treatments for now and manually siphon any strays. You can use a turkey baster to suck up individual FWs which will save you some water.

Sorry to hear about some of your CUC.

thanks greech,

yeah, i am done with the product. will hope that this double overnight thing was good enough.

will suck them up if i see any and just hope they don't get out of hand.

Maybe time for a velvet nudi?

If you don't have a lot of reef-knowledgeable friends you could always embrace the flatworms. Tell everyone that they are an extremely rare creature that are very difficult to successfully keep in an aquarium. Then when they comment on how many there are... :evil_lol:

Otherwise the nudi could work. Would be a cool addition too, if it could be kept alive long-term.

hi guys,

hear the nudis are tough to keep so don't want to get something just to have it die.

also i belive i lost my porcelean crab. he molted about 5 days ago and has been MIA ever since :-(

he was a cool little guy.

hope all of you have a merry x-mas.

Understood and agree. Just an option.

I have a porcelain crab too. He goes missing for days/weeks and then reappears. Most of the time I find him under my torch or in my duncan. I'll bet its still in your tank somewhere (at least I hope so).

Merry Christmas to you too!

hope you're right bud.

that hasn't been his M.O. in the past though.

normally would be out in a couple days atop his favorite rock.

here's to hoping he is still ok though.

well, i shut her down today :-(

never could get control of the flatworms that were introduced from the detriove kit i purchased and the dry fiji rock i believe never stopped leaching something as i never could resolve the issues that were going on completely.

just really wanted to thank everyone, esp. greech for all of their time and help on this journey.

overall, i really tried to do everything right and create a good environment for these critters, but i just couldn't pull it off.

thanks again to all of you guy/gals.

Awww, that's really too bad. You gonna keep the tank and try again someday?
