Stocking a 150 gallon

I wouldn't get guppies, the SDs will tear them apart. more SDs, les gouramis. one trinidad is all you're gonna need.

yes, i agree with FC on the SD tearing them up...

maybe
1 discus
and tetras...
i love discus:)

discus do better in groups, and he said he didn't want discus. I don't blame him, they are pretty difficult fish.

darn thats a shame. what else sucks is that i cant get a pleco anymore. my mom came back from shopping. (yes, shopping on christmas eve) along the way she stopped by joann fabrics where they had a huge sale of silk plants. she bought about 15-20 large grassy plants. after putting them in there will be barely any ground space.

so i gues its back to the drawing board.

how bout 5 angelfish
about 6-8 gouramis (blue and orange)
15 guppies
and maybe a few more

hahahahaha! you can still get a pleco! in fact, now you have an even better enviroment for the pleco!

don't get that many gouramis.

dont plecos hover around the bottom of the tank? you can barely see the bottom of my parent's tank.

sooo, hows this

6 angelfish
20 guppies
6 gouramis
4-8 assorted tetras

this tank is 8' by 1.25' by 2'

ah, they just dig in and hide under the plants. they like cover.

I reccomend
8 congo tetras
6 silver dollars
1 common pleco

sorry fishcatch, but my parents dont find that mix very interesting.

ill stick to the previous mix. they seem to like it

congo tetras are big, fast, and colorful, so they provide constant action and color, and the silver dollars a bright silver and deep and strong. together, they provide an awesome display.

gouramis and angels are pretty sluggish fish so there's not much action to catch your eye. plus both of them will eat the guppies.

i have honey and blue paradise gouramis and they sometimes fight at feeding

how about
5 koi angel fish
15+ tetras
and 1 gourami

i dont know if thats good, but dont get alot of gouramis:)
