Stocking for Marine

Thanks WeeNe858.

i dont recommend the eclipse systems.. its best you go with a HOB or even a canister.. the fission skimmer is also really crudy.. save your money and use it elsewhere

Thanks, I changed my mind about the Eclipse already and thanks for the heads up on the fission skimmer. Is there a good protein skimmer that I could use for a tank of this size (20 gal.)? Or should I just stick with a HOB or canister? What are the best choices for each HOB and canister that are not outrageously expensive as I'm on a limited budget.

Thanks,
Evan

Anyone?

Okay, I have two questions this time.

1) Which HOB or canister filter would be best to go with all the equipment that I have listed above on previous pages?

2) Are there any good skimmers that can be used on a small tank like this (20 gal. Long)?

THanks!

i would recommend a fluval 205 for ur set up it would make things easier and less a worry. also i understand that u have a tight budget but what ive found that works so well for smaller salt tanks is a fuge. ill include a lick with this post. some include a skimmer and i love mine its made so many things easier for me. as for just a skimmer id look at a back pak form CPR they are great and my personal favorite.
