Firstly, would there be any negative effects to my fish if I were to place a submersible clock into my tank? If the answer is no, has anyone done this? Battery Powered or wind up? And does anyone know of a manufacturer? Thank you very much.

Hehe. I have to know. If the clock is water proff, go for it.

I dont know why you want a clock for???????
Why not a water proof wrist watch with out the bands.

u sure the water proof wristwatch will hold in the long run? hmm they should design an aquarium clock or something......

I can completely understand the urge to put strange things in a tank. I just bought a 3 inch small remote control submarine. It was actually designed for aquarium use. The idea is that you can buzz it around your tank, chasing your fish. It has a bright blue headlamp that shows up quite brightly in the dark. My fish (white clouds, platy, amano shrimp) immediately hid when I put the sub in. I didn't actually chase them with it of course. That would be mean, as opposed to just immature. :p:
