Suggestions for buying poly filter floss or a substitute?

Less expensive alternatives for poly filter floss? I was considering buying 3 bags of the largest size.

AQUA PURE's FILTER FIBER:
Excellent for box filters and corner filters.

You can buy large bags of fiber for stuffing pillows that works just as well for less than that.

just make sure it not the fire retardant treated stuff. i believe the green bags at wallmart are safe

I buy the big cheap bags of it at wally world. Enough to stuff a pillow for about $3 if I remember right.

There are two types I buy at walmart the Poly fill which is just the stuffing type for pillows good for filling baskets and voids where there is no other media.

Then there is the Poly quilt a woven material used for making quilts without bunching, this stuff is great for layering with sponge or bio blanket becasue it catches allot of dirt without bypassing yet wont stick or shed to other layered media and can simply be peeled away in one piece once it needs changing.

I use both for different applications and the stuff works great for polishing water.

yup walmart sewing department i buy 3 rolls of the king size poly quilt batting every month (they think i make lots of quilts at my local wally mart afraid to tell them what i really use it for im sure they would jack up the price since every one i know buys it there and none of them are making quilts either lol

Just make sure its polyester and not cotton
