Sulawesi shrimp

I think I have #4 (or something that looks very similar). It was this clear color, but has changed to a greenish color over time (I assume because of the algae waffers I feed it).

Mine is growing and seems to be doing well in my tank. My tank has pretty high PH at the moment (around 7.8), but I'm looking to lower the PH to accomodate some other fish. Do you know around what PH this type of shrimp likes?

By the way Msjink, I saw an auction on aquabid yesterday for 10 pieces of the sulawesi shrimp that tienbm has for $200. Quite expensive I think. I don't think I'll ever raise these. But I'm just telling you this just incase you want some. :D

These are some cool looking shrimp. May I ask what the plants are in the foreground ? Are they flame moss ?
 
These shrimp look awesome, but I checked the post dates and they are almost 2 years old! any updates on these shrimp? I searched them, but can't really find a place to buy them at yet :(
