Sun Snail

I have some of these interesting horned snails, but haven't been able to find the proper name for them. Arakkis do you know these?

Commonly called a Sun Snail (Clithon ?) and said to be from Sulawesi.

I have a bunch of them as well. They are clithon, can't remember the scientific name. I am sure vampie or arakkis will be through soon to post it up.

mine are still pea-sized or so, very cute snails!

Hrm.. I have seen them before. It looks like a color morph of the C.corona green version, or it could be a C.flavovirens morph. I've seen the striping of the corona that way but it has spots like the flavo which I haven't seen in corona.

I'll try to ID them in a bit, but its def. one of those two, leaning more on the C.corona

I'm wondering what these are as well, though I've always thought of it as C. corona. Mine seem rather horny, I always find them bonking each other's badonkadonks.

I thought C. souleyetana was a polynesian species. (Taio has Bay, Nuku hiva Is,and Marquesas islands)
