I've posted a lot on the forums lately, and I don't mean to spam, but I noticed something AWESOME today!!

I have a small population of completely clear pond snails. I know all pond snail babies are kind of clear, but I have adults and juvies who are see-through! Anyone seen anything like this before?

I'll post pics as soon as I can (read: I lost my camera like an idiot)

I don't know if it's a deficiency...I hope it's not! A lot of other pond snails I have look just great! I have a tiny baby red ramshorn and (s)he's growing really well. I also have 2 bumblebee horned nerites and their shells look perfect.

The actual body of the snail is milky/translucent white, not the typical tannish brown.

The bullit had posted about some that he had awhile back. I also have some that are almost completely translucent. They are neat and seeem to get slightly larger than the brown ponds.

yes i had totaly clear like glass shelled ramshorn snails a while back. they dissapeared though and havnt seen them since. i have a few that are like frosted glass like a smoked window.
