I liked the other Superbowl thread and did not want to jack it, so I thought I'd start this thread and share different favorite party or super bowl party recipes!

Spread some ideas around :grinno:

I'll start off..

Dawg Dip

Ingredients:
1 block of cream cheese
1 bag of shreaded chedder cheese
1 can of chilli (beans or no beans)

Get a good size pie dish

Add the chilli and the block of cream cheese and put in microwave for 1 minute 45
and mix together until it is a pinkish sauce and everything is mixed in.

Next add the cheese and sprinkle on top until top is covered and heat in the microwave until cheese is melted

Then it is all ready to go with some dipping chips!!

Enjoy!

Muy Delicioso Guacamole

5 soft (but not brown) avocadoes
1 small to medium white onion
1 to 2 tablespoons diced or minced garlic.
Jalapeno or habanero chilis, the type and amount depending on taste
Salt to taste

Peel and mash avocadoes
Dice onion and chilis
Mix all the ingredients and serve

I have two:

One is Buffalo Chicken Dip - aka crack dip

1 8oz block of cream cheese softened
1/2 a rotisserie chicken (shredded) from your favorite grocery store (or 2 large cans of chicken)
Franks Original Red Hot
Blue cheese dressing (I use Ken's)
Shredded cheddar/jack cheese (about 2 cups)

In a baking dish spread a layer of the cream cheese. In a bowl, toss the chicken and the hot sauce to taste (I like about a half a bottle). Sprinkle the chicken mixture over the cream cheese. Add a layer of blue cheese dressing (as thick as you like) and spread the shredded cheese over that.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until hot and the cheese is melted.

Serve with tortilla chips

block of velveeta chunked up
1 can of rotel
1 lb of sausage cooked

put it all in a crockpot and stir it every once in a while
enjoy with chips of your choice
