That's a bit of a stretch.

Monsanto is definitely an evil company..this is not the first documentary that talks about its use of GMOs and there stupid patents on seed and basically ruining farmers lives and then suing them just to add insult to injury.

Monsanto is definitely an evil company...

Yea, I don't recall seeing this one before. And it was pretty good. So... I thought I'd post it, and have a place to send people in the glow fish threads. : ) Instead of ending up feeling like high-jacking them.

I don't think so.

I stopped to think(basically on that principle) when making the title. And thought, yea in reality, it's all headed down the same path.

Monsanto reaches comic book levels of evil, however that doesn't mean that everything involved with genetic engineering/modification is evil as well.

What about golden rice? Thousands of children are going blind and dying because of vitamin A deficiencies. Golden rice is a GM crop that was altered to have vit a precursors present in the edible part of the rice, instead of in the husk where it is normally present.

Monsanto can do as they please and have congressional backing you might say. One of the original members of Monsanto board happens to have a member of congress for a wife. It is sort of amazing that she just happens to be one of the original writers of the bill to outlaw the pet trade business. Mighty strange coincidence in my book. Too bad politics aren't allowed on this site because I can take up a few pages of her "bills" and it's long term impact to the financial markets and environment. (Not to mention how it also helps to escalate the share value prices in Monsanto).

Glofish danios were created as a pollution monitoring agent. They never would have left the laboratory if people didn't like them.

GM seeds are a threat to farmers and ultimately food crops all over the world. Except for the ones that save lives.
The argument, except against Monsanto law suit predilection, isn't absolute. There's a boat load of gray between black and white.
