SW Question

You are correct NYC.. on a 10G a skimmer really isn't needed. Your going to have much bigger things to worry about than the DOCs (disolved organic compounds) in the tank. Just keeping salinity stable is enough of a challenge for me to not want to attempt it.

:iagree: as well as ph.
btw, my angle is lot looking better. thanks ace again.

AtO? whats that?

I was also thinking about diy skimmer using a air stone but im not so sure that might be as effective as product kinds

When water evaporates specific gravity increases along with concentration of other things. With a nano it is important to ensure that you are maintaining an equalibrium even more so than with a larger tank. If I loose one gallon in my 75 (with a total volume of 106 gallons) it isn't as detrimental as a 10 gallon loosing a half of a gallon.

go to club reef aquarium .com and the skimer for the bio cub will work they are small and i have 1 and i like it
