Hey everyone,
Well this is my african cichlid lake tang tank
I've set it up over the last 2 months or so.
It's a 30 gallon.
Two days ago I got its first fish (besides the BN). I got a trio of Daffidol princess cichlids (juvies) (3-4cm) and a pair of mature J. Dickfeldi (6-7cm). I am currently waiting on a pair of german lupei's (orange form)
In it I have an anubias, an amazonicus (which is doing great) and some java ferns which are melting. The hardness is around 250ppm. pH is about 8.1 due to the limestone rock on the left
The driftwood doesnt seem to have much affect on the pH and i like the look of it and my BN likes it
I understand the tank is a bit small but I've tried to select fish that won't grow too fast or big...with that been said I am expecting to set-up a larger cichlid tank (55-75g) in about a year
So tell me what you think. Thanks!
