tank crack leads to disaster! please read

Its not all that bad...
Its the worst thing thats ever happend to my tank! I got up this morning to find my dad going crazy, l looked at the floor and it was a puddle all over my laminate floor. It was a crack in the fish tank that i saw when i put water in, so i took it back and the guy said it was just on the plastice not on the glass. Well he was wrong and i cant be more angry! i looked at the tank and the water was almost half way down. The only thing i could do was get my poor little fish out espeacially my 4 new fish i bought only on monday. I have no wear to put them but a bucket so that whear they are. The danios were the hardest to cacth. The tank is now empty with everything gone half the stuff on bedroom floor is destroyed like books and i couldnt help but cry. I dont know why but after all that work you put it in just for your fish and then for it to be destroyed so quickly. Now my sadness has turned into anger to the man hwo told me it was fine. I just rang the store and he doesnt have the same tank in. im so gutted but i must get some kind of compensation out of this. My new found hobby has just come to an end in seonds and all i have now is my fish left in a bucket with no fitration and no heater. The fish have gone through too much stress but if they are going to die of stress when will it happen? what can i do to prevent them dieing? This is so unfair and wouldnt wish this on any of you guys.

Thanks

get a few 10's and run a small filter and heater. I am sorry to hear of your tank. my 24G bow front got a fractured bottom. if yuo know of anyone who has a tank ask them to house them for you. thats another way.

I wouldnt give up. this happends. it's just a hazard of the hobby I hate to say. they best thing to do is find another tank and get them in there ASAP. Keep w/c on the buckets. atleast 50% daily since there's no filtration.

yeah thanks for the help im going to the place today i might get a tank then but it wont be the same but i have to get something im not going to give up but this is something that could make you. its lucky i love the hobby to much. its just a real shame

yeah, I had a 150 burst on me. Lucky for me it was out side. never trust a tank that has damage.

here are some photos i took amongst the chaos:

update: i have just been to the place whear i got the tank and have taken it back. They did not have he same one in stock but they could order it and would take about a week. Mean while he said he would look after my fish in one of the stores tank wich im a bit cautios about but its better thank a bucket. so now i have to do is wait a whole week and then wait for it to cycle again. Its weird, i have nothing to do now i feel as though im without an arm or something.
