DAVIDFBT
Extinct? Since when?
They should be fed every 2-3 days with about 2 grams of food which is about 4-5 small crickets or one 2 inch earthworm. (Fully streched out)
I think the reason why they don't go in the water is because they are scared that they might drown. You should put in a piece of driftwood, or create more land/water transition land. Look at the 20 gallon FBT vivarium in my signature to get an Idea of what they like. (Although I haven't updated it in about a month.
Oh, and you should be able to put in 1 FBT per 60 square inches of land in your tank.
The way to find out is that you find the area of your aquarium's footprint, divide it by 66 and the answer is how many FBT you can have on the tank. If you have an answer that ends in a decimal, round down to the nearest whole number. (I don't think you can cut a FBT in half if your answer ends in .5 :duh: )
This way is very accurate and has been succesful. Like putting 3 in a 10 gallon, or 5 in a 20 long.
But this only works in half land, half water tanks. But for you, I think you can have 1 more FBT in there because there isn't much horizontal land that they need.
If I were you, I would ditch the whole aquarium with fish thing and put in a real good FBT Vivarium.
