hahahah no worries man! im not here to judge everyone makes mistakes!
btw i had a harlequin shrimp for close to 4 months before he perished
a CC star that cost about 15? dollars.. if you readabout feeding them you can feed them 1 star fish for 2 weeks it takes about that time to eat one depending on size then you can take 2 weeks off from feeding them and they do perfectly! your tank would be awsome becuse what you could do is silicon off a little bit of the tank with peice of glass and use that as a refugium for the stars (you can buy in bundles) and the benefit of that is you an cut a leg of the star fish off and feed it to the shrimp and while that regenerates, and it come time to feed the shrimp again you can take the 2nd star and cut its leg off and feed it, by that time (it would be easier to have a 3) the star will be regenerated a leg! and you can recycle the stars instead of buying new ones
harlequins are worth any sort of hassle they are incredibly personable and so cool!
There are a ton of options for a tank the size of 5-7 gallons. Any goby would be just fine in there, In my 5.5 I had a green banded goby as well as a neon goby and everything was perfect. A mated pair of neon gobies would be really cool too. And you could also put about 5-6 sexy shrimp in the tank which would be dope. Harlequin shrimp are awesome as well just very picky appetites. A really good website that is dedicated to 'nano" saltwater aquariums is Nano-reef.com
My username is Gerber77 over there so if you have any questions feel free to let me know.
thanks for the info and i might just add to my count and bump up my number of sexy shrimp to 5 or stick with 3 and get another small goby and a bumblebee shrimp too add a little more variety
i really wish i could remember the names of the 2 goby i was looking at on the divers den so i could look for them on other sites
