Ok, I just bought a 10 gallon tank. I need some fish to put in it. I love gourami's, but I don't know what other fish would be good with a gourami. I know not to put two gourami's together, but what other fish would go well with gouramis? Thanks
I found that as long as you have a male and female gourami together there is less conflict......as for other fish..I have 2- pearl gouramis 2- moonlights 2- honeys and just to be different...they live with 4 - jewels and a black phantom, a molly(last one) and a 6 1/2 " cobalt blue lobster...in a 33 g
Females are a lot less colorful and kinda scranny looking.
I wouldn't put more than one male gourami in a ten gallon, a 29 min. is needed for that, and some people still have a hard time with them getting along.
A few suggestions for a ten:
1 gourami, a school of tetras, or white clouds, etc.
1 gourami, and one ram.
By a pair, do you mean male and female, or just two gouramis? I know the pleco will get way too big for your 30, and I don't know anything about your other fish so hopefully someone can comment on stocking levels. But as far as the gouramis are concerned, You could do one or a pair, or even two males if you keep an eye on them. Like I said, I have two males in my 29 gallon, but I've heard of some people having problems when they try to do this.
yeah i ment having female and male...but i think the female is gonna be hardest to find cause i NEVERD seen one. And i plan on giving away my pelco...all he dose is hide all day.
