It requires effort to get a job. Not mommy and daddy driving you around or hanging out with your friends. When we went out and got a job we thought it was the best way to spend a summer; not whining about how I had to work all summer. It aslo made for an awsome wardrobe because you got to buy what you liked and not what mommy wanted you to wear!

All the cool kids went out and got jobs. The whiners stayed home.

this thread just fails bc of all the old people!!! its supposed to be for kids to talk not for people who when they were a kid they got a quarter each month as allowance.
