Mine isnt swelling that much, its kinda normal looking right now... did you ice it when it first happened, and how long did it take to get like that?

I haven't tried ice but I did eat ice-cream to soothe the itchy feeling.

so, the acetaminophen/oxycodone is percocet? that's what i got for my wisdom teeth and it didn't do a darn thing except get me a little stoned and a lot short-tempered. Extra Strength Tylenol eased the pain better than that stuff, and with no side effects. I remember i put some soup in the blender (too chunky) and then my cat knocked it over. i went freaking ballistic. that was a good clue not to be taking the hard drugs anymore.
after my wisdom teeth came out (and they managed somehow to stitch the wounds to the inside of my cheek) i got a bad abscess that lasted a few months. the fluid would build up inside of my cheek and make it all puffy, but when i pressed it the pus and blood would come out through the empty socket behind my molar. it was so gross.

Yum. That must have sucked... Was it infected? Or was it just because it was a random chance of getting an abscess? Im brushing my teeth like 4 times a day and mouth washing 9 times. Making sure I dont get infected.
Rinsing with warm salt water helps prevent infections too. Espeically after having teeth pulled and getting stitches.
