thay don't make them like thay used to (20 gallon)

thanks every one i love these tank and always grab them when i can. i've even considered building a tank similar but as of yet haven't (don't have a lot of the skills to do it yet but getting there). filled up the tank to test for leeks this after noon true i didn't wait 24 hours but i think it will be ok and so far no leaks.

i also started buy plants for the tank and so Crypt Parva should be coming some time this week. i'm thinking this will mostly be a crypt and anubias tank, but i have a strong urge to mix in some Eriocaulon species and maybe some Poaceae sp. ‘Purple Bamboo’. also you think 2 ehiem 2211's would be ok for this tank i have one on a 5 gallon (inhabitant are being movied to this tank) and can get them for a decent price usually.

here's an up date got the back painted and started some basic scaping ideas. was thinking a rock mountian covered in anubias for this project and crips and other low growing things around the base what do you think.

Very cool tank! But rock piles make me so nervous inside a tank....

Wow! Metaframe. i did not think so many still held on to theirs. I have 20L.
Anyone still have Dynaflo/Aquamaster/Aquaking/Superking??

I've seen a few metal rimmed tanks on CL around here. I've always wanted one, but I don't have the money/room for one. I'm very interested in them because it's almost like you're staring into a framed picture while looking at the tank.

thay defiantly have there style and i love them alway on the look out as i have said

Bubbles2112: i can understand being nervice about a rock pile but this is actually relatively sturdy and once the anubias grown in should pretty stable.

Nice looking tank.

I just got a 20 gallon metal frame for $3 a week or so ago :D It will have to wait until my 60 gal and 40 gal projects are finished, but I can't wait to set mine up either. I will be interested to see how yours turns out!
