Well this Has been a full day. We had a bit of an issue with my girl friends tank tonight. We had to rush out and get a QT tank for her fish because her Royal Gramma has ick. She went to her parents house after we got the LR & LS to get her test kits so we could test the 75gal. While doing her daily stuff for the tank she saw white spots on the fish. When she got back here she found a bunch of stuff about how to treat ick. So off to Pet Smart we go. We picked up a 12gal Eclipse System 12. Hey it had everything for $100.00 and it's up and running. It is now sitting right next to me on our computer desk. Now I'm really going to spend way to much time in this seat. In the tank (1 Royal Gramma, 1 Clown, 1 Pajama, and 1 Clarky Clown) and some PVC pipe fittings.

Now that that is done I'm working on some aqua scaping. I feel like every time I sick my hand in there it fogs up in 5min and I have to stop working and let it settle. I am having fun playing with everything though. We did find out that the SG meter was way off. She brought her SG meter from her tank over here and when I checked the 75gal that was reading 1.024 on the one we have been using hers read 1.028. Over the last 2 hours I have taken 11gal out of the tank and put in RO/DI water. It is almost down to 1.024. I can't believe it was off that far. We know hers is right because when she has her water tested at the store with there high tech stuff it's the same as what her meter read.

Did you put any ammonia in the tank yet?

No not yet. She wants to just use the rock or use the shimp. The only thing is that I can not have any thing stinking in here. I have people living below us. So I guess where still up in the air about that.

if you get enough cure rocks, with rotten shrimps you will not smell a think until you take out the rotten shrimp out of the water, in my tank it didnt smell at all.

Really? If it dosen't stink we will do that.
