The 75gal reef tank cycle has started!!!!!!!

i'd move the rock formation on the left in towards the center a bit, it may be just the way it looks in the pics but it looks a bit close to the glass (too close to pass a mag-float). man the tank is still looking so clean! and i can't believe no one has commented on that rock either i noticed it a while ago and had a good laugh about it myself :)

The rock is just far enough away to get it by. We put the float right there when we were placing it. It just makes it by.

Yeah she thought it would be one of those where's Waldoe type things.LOL

We've got critters!

We went to one of the LFS that get some of our stuff from to get the Bio-cube 8 and they wanted $199.00 for it with out the skimmer. Now when we went to the other stores that Sploke suggested two of the stores were selling them for $150.00 and a $25.00 rebate. The one we looked at tonight also had the rebate but was more expensive. So we didn't get that one and we were going to goto the other stores but they were close by the time we figured everything out. So to keep from wasting the trip we pickup a few CUC critters. We got four sand sifting snails, 8 Blue legs, 2 Sexy Shrimp and 1 Brittle Star and he's big. I hope you guys don't bash us for putting them in a bit early. I figured I was going in a day or so to get them any way and I know we need more then what we got but it's a start. We will be going to get the Cube in the next day or so, so we will get some more then. We also figured there isn't really that much algae in there yet anyway. If anyone has any ideas for what else to get please post. I had a list of what we wanted to get but didn't bring it with us because we weren't planning on get these guys tonight so I didn't remember what all the names were or how many of each.

We got a few pictures of the shrimp and the blue legs but not the star seeing that he ran for cover as soon as I put him in the tank. I'll try and get one later once they settle in.

Ashlee named that picture butts. LOL

They are so cool to watch although they are just sitting in the corner of the tank. I think they are afraid to goto the rocks.
