The Algae Battle

At some point I would, but if you really think the flow is a problem, I could make it more of a priority.

Cyano is one of those things you can defeat with a good flow.. You have 24x now I just think your ending up with dead spots. You could try reversing the PH around or moving them to different locations first. I know in my tank it was a delicate balancing act.

Well it is definatly cyano, WWM helped me identify it.

I was wondering if it was because of my salt? Right after I did a water change with salt it appeared.

I am going to try the phosphate reactor, better flow, and aeration. How do you know if you are receiving good aeration throughout the tank?

Easy way to tell if it's your salt is to mix some new water up and test it for nitrates and phosphates, If you get a result for either that could be your problem. Check the water without the salt to make sure your ro/di is doing its job.
