Ok, would these kind of shells work or should I get some other type?

How big should they be? The biggest ones are about 3" long, smallest about 1.5" I'd say. By long I mean from side to side <---->.

does this help?

Wow if I knew you were going to get indecent I would have made the trip :evil_lol:
AHAHAHAHA!!!! Well, I told you we'd have fun, but noooooo you had to be all it's to far!

So, I'm back to looking at the fish. I'm pretty sure for the shelly I want Lamprologus Stappersii. I just like them the best, if I go with them how many would I be looking at getting?

Lamprologus Similis. Would be my second choice, if I can't find the Stappersii.

As far as Julies...
Marlieri-(Gombe), It says they get about 3" and I really like them
(Katili), but it looks like they may get a bit bigger then I want (5")?
(Burundi), same as above though
Sp. "kissi"-(Pemba), these really caught my eye also.

Dickfeldi (Sumbu) or (midnight) although it said they get about 4", which also may be to big for what I want.

So of these any for sure no? I am leaning more at the Marlieri (Gombe) and the Sp. Kissi.

How many Julie's would I be looking at getting?

Still looking at the Gobie.

Ok, just postin this so I can see them all together and maybe help decide which I would like best in my tank..
the Stappersii is the one I know I want
Julies are next which of the two would look better with the Stappersii
Gobies I am looking at next, which would look best with the Stappersii and Julie I decide.
I'm thinking the Marliere Gombe for the Julie, but I really like the Sp Kissi also. Although the Gobies I like best are black, so I thought the Gombe may look better since it is white with the black stripes, instead of black body??

I have no answers for you because I am a Tang virgin  but I've been following along and whatever you choose this tank is going to be awesome! Good job getting those freshly siliconed glass pieces out, that is definitely NOT an easy task!
