thanks for the comment mogurnda. that's what i'd liked to do, thing is..i'm not very good at rock design. any information and/or instructions on how to build a better layout would help. can't seem to find anything. i have the aquarium epoxy, but haven't even opened it yet. the fear i have, is placing a rock wrong and then its stuck there, or worse that in the middle of the night the epoxy didn't set right. one tumbles down causing destruction. i'm kind of a worrier. :(

65g, my favourite size! Nice tank, though I agree with Dave about the rockwork. This tank has so much potential, don't be afraid to play :)
My best advice is to get some larger pieces with interesting shapes to use as a base - no bowling balls, it's hard to balance things on a round surface. Then get medium sized pieces (also randomly shaped) to build with. Play with the rocks like puzzle pieces; turn them over, around, upsidedown and you'll find a position where each fits into another.

Here's a pic of the rockwork in my 65g, just to show you what I mean:

do you use the epoxy for the rocks or just place them carefully blinky. if using epoxy, how long does it take to set?

Yeah Blinky I also need to know, if yours is epoxied or just placed on there, I have came up with a number of cool looking ways to set my rock, but every now and then I change it, but is a hasle and would like to keep it in a certain way for good. And how do you epoxy them together, do you have to wait till it drys?

I don't use anything - no zip ties, no epoxy, nothing else. I just try to get LR with interesting shapes and play with the rocks until I find a good fit. IME the more intricate the shape (branching, lots of notches, angular, bumpy etc.) the easier it is to work with. Smooth round/flat pieces don't 'stick' the way unevenly surfaced rocks do.
If you choose to use an epoxy, AFAIK it's workable underwater and cures fully in less than 24h.
