Yes, 90% of those rocks are well away from the back wall. There are a few that are pushed back and touching or nearly so just to gain real estate at the front for the gobies, nothing's balanced on the back wall. That said, I have rocks touching the back wall from top to bottom in my 30g because the tank is so narrow front to back. IMO it's not a problem as long as it's just contact and you're not relying on the glass to hold things up.
 
thanks for the comments. i'll try to update as much as possible. the coraline in the tank is really starting to bloom. never had this in the 30gal which was up for a year.

on another note, how predatory are tiger cowries. what do they go for or should i say what can be added with them(in the way of other inverts).
he is about 1" big. i read that they become more aggresive when they get bigger. right now he seems to be content with the diatoms and detrius he is finding, but will he or can he kill fish.
