The only stupid question...

has moby gotten any bigger? if so he's probably not a negriventis. as stated above there's a couple sinos. they are hardy for sure, but he's a certified trooper. if he is a negriventis he will be more playful with more friends.

He hasn't gotten ay bigger. He's actually quite plump...I'm suprised he's not skinny as a rail

Also considering adding some driftwood, since upsidedown catfish enjoy hiding and try adding some floating plants for cover.

Thank you thanks a great idea

Annie, check planetcatfish.com's Cat-eLog for your species.

Here is the profile for Synodontis nigriventris

Maybe OT, but the whole concept that there is no such thing as a stupid question is bs! Here's a first hand example: A woman is looking at the SW FOWLR display at a store I worked at. She points to a Yellow Tang and asks "is that a SW fish?" to which I reply "yes". A few seconds later she looked at a Hippo tang in the same tank and asked "is that a SW fish too?". I rest my case!

wow....lucky catfish.just goes to show you how hardy some species are without being coddled and catering to thier every need(of which i am guilty of):p:
