Tha'ts the thing, they aren't as common at LFS. I got my at a specialized aquarium shop. They have everything, so I managed to get them there but it was about $12 a piece.

Ordering some online would be good but it's really hard to find them.

They grow fairly slow (and their fry to). My biggest used to be about 1.5" but now it's about 2.5" after 6 months or so.

also i like your one-eyed shrimp he seems adorable

Today, I discovered that one of my guppies died. He was getting picked on by the other male. It sucks.


On the brighter not, I'm PROBABLY gonna get a 30-38G on Christmas. I might have to go buy it with them lol.
 
i have my peacocks for a few days and they have bred twice so far that i know of. the male doesnt guard the eggs so they get eaten. i have one male and 2 females in a 20 gallon tank. right now im seeing that the females are fighting among each other more than the male fights with them. are you seeing similar results?
 
I have a female, a deformed male, and an Xgender Peacock Gudgeon. It's all very confusing. The female and the Dmale flare and do the dance, but then the female breaks it after a good 20 seconds. That's it. I've seen it many times, especially since it's near the PVC pipes.

Mine are very peaceful, so I've never seen them fight at all.
