darn, sorry Jo... I was looking at how rb wrote "Joan" and remembered I called someone a he last game and it turned out to being a she...

I failed to pick up on sarcasm. Please. You mean to tell me that Jo's list of 2 players was sarcastic? I still dont see it as such. Sorry.

Yet here DD says she still doesn't see Jo's post as sarcastic. I understand missing the sarcasm the first go around, but after Jo explained it, why still question it? Only Jo would know w/certainty what he intended and he had already stated his intention.

I thought that given the overall mood of the game, and the fact that everyone seemed to be laughing at kuhli that what i said was pretty much blatant sarcasm....

You've played enough games to know how lists like that work.... and plus if you actually read the "find" that kuhli had, then you would realize the ridiculousness of it and realize i was making a joke....

The argument about the sarcastic post along w/ the forgetting of who she voted for to begin with is what makes DD suspicious to me.

Well Paul had made 2 posts close to 1am the night we started, and one post yesterday close to 4:00pm. Nothing else anywhere.

This is why I'm hesitant to take my vote off of Paul. Does he plan to make a last minute show? I suppose if he does, he'll have to answer for it another day. So now I need to choose between DD and Liz. I'm going to go pull up a post or two of Liz's that bothers me.

Well, I found more than a couple of Liz's posts that bothered me:

well it might be odd or different but doesn't it make sense?

I hadn't done anything to indicate that I am innocent,
I have only hinted that I am mafia.

So I think I'm the most suspicious one here. And the people who are voting for other people simply for not posting or for lesser reasons... i don't know. It's kind of suspicious?

I don't know who is more suspicious, clown-lover who suspected I am mafia and then chose to lynch someone less suspicious (Is dd less suspicious? I havent read the whole thread)... or plantling, who chose to lynch someone other than me simply because they haven't posted

I don't think anything I said has particularly indicated that I am mafia, but it must indicate it to other people since I've had so many votes against me (assumably from townies suspecting I am mafia, since I haven't given the mafia any good reasons to believe I am a townie). It's hard to tell though. Maybe plantling and clown lover didn't read into it as much? Maybe they didn't think I had a strong case against me? Hard to tell.

Here Liz admits to not looking innocent and has only hinted she is Mafia. Then the last line that I bolded has her saying she doesn't think anything she said indicated she is Mafia.

Also she admits to not knowing if DD and I are less suspicious because she hasn't read the whole thread. She alleges that I only voted for AkaPaul simply because he hasn't posted.

Alright, I know he's a newb and I don't condone picking in newbs in general, but AkaPaul hasn't posted, so maybe if he sees his name in bold a few times it might wake him up. This is subject to change, of course.

i still would like to hear from AkaPaul. However, I do agree that Liz's statement that everyone should act more Mafia-like is a bit suspicious. It could be she was just trying to joke, but Not Funny in this town.

hmmm... I am not sure if plantling just didn't see my posts as suggesting I am mafia, but I vote to lynch plantling.

I'll probably change my vote as things progress though.

I don't understand why someone voting to lynch someone else on basically no basis would indicate that they are mafia?

Wouldn't mafia look for someone who was obviously a townie to vote for?

Well I suppose they have to disguise their votes somehow, maybe with no good "innocent" basis so they use a stupid reason to cover?

Here she plays the confused card where she doesn't understand the logistics of Mafia voting. Then in the third sentence she answers herself. Then asks another question.

Well I believe at this point everyone sees me as a naive innocent.

So everyone will probably retract their votes, the townies, and the mafia in order to blend in.

Or else I'll just get lynched because I suck haha

Now she's assuming her confused tactic has gotten everyone to back off of her, townies and mafia, too, so they can blend in.

Hmmm, blend in? Sounds as if Liz does understand the game, she just wants to appear confused, IMHO.

Defending the vote on Liz:

This is always said... give the newbies a break, they're nw. Well, these games have been around enough for everyone to read them. If the newbies are in the game, I would think they would at least half figure they know what they are getting into. Newbies don't get automatic points. There is no reason why Judge's random picks would not pick up on a newbie just because they are new.

So after going back and reviewing she wasn't as gung-ho about it as I perceived...now to review her current vote.

Nope, not skimming at all. Pointing out the different "excuses" she uses is all...another thing I'm not use to seeing from D. If you notice her one about morning was made in the at 5:15pm, and her one about afternoon was made in the 10:12am. So in the morning she says she didn't have time because of a Doctor appointment in the afternoon, after getting back on and seeing the post she came back with she was busy in the morning?

I wonder if Paul knows he will die if he doesn't vote?? Since he is new, and not posted a thing yet..I'm not sure if he has looked at the rules.

I would assume that when you cast a new vote, the most recent vote is the one that counts regardless of an official "retraction" statement or not.
