most peopel on here seem to be in America yeh? just curious as to how much ye pay for fish over there.
albino chinese algae eater....€5.95...about $7.50
neon tetras.....€2...about $2.50
guppy and platy ....€2.50 about $3

well are we getting ripped off here with fish or what?

yeah.. pretty much.... I live in alaska, which is just about the most expensive state in america, and I paid 2.50 for my platies, and the neons are around 1.50 each, and the albino CAE's are around 5.00.

Here in the South East US my CAE cost 3.00us, my Coolies cost 3.95us each, platies and other live bearers depend. Wally World carries them for 1.95 or so while my LFS has them for about 2.95, but they are nice and breeding size. Neons vary, I've seen them as low as .95 and up to 1.95 depending on store, size, or just timing.

neons are $0.39 each or 20 for $5. Guppys are $0.99 each, Barbs are $0.39 each or 20 for $5.

About the same - maybe a little cheaper. Neons maybe $2.00. Actually, I think fish are ridiculously cheap. If someone sold ME for $2.00, Id be damned insulted.

neons are 1.99 each or five for 6 dollars. Cardinals are 2.99 each or four for 6 dollars. Rainbow Boesmani are 15 a peice as are the turqouise. full grown 5 inch are 40 bucks each ....

Discus are 99 bucks each ... guppies are 1.99 ...

Otos are 1.99. Leoperd corys are 6.99 each ...uhhhh thats all I can remember.

Seems dearer in Ireland compared to the UK

CAE's around £3
Neons, Platies and Guppy's about £1
