Theories on Aliens?

Unless they have discoved how to use the worm holes or what was it ,bending the fabric of time as Einstein said. ;)

I think Einstein knew something and died with the secret or then he wouldn't have said something about bending the time and stuff like that. Hes one of brilliant person. GENIUS!

Slightly off-topic: has anyone here heard of the Heinlein Prize?

www.heinleinprize.com/index.htm

yes, that Heinlein. I found this on the website of a fav. author of mine a few days ago, & got a kick out of it!
A prize for the advancement of commercial spaceflight-cool!!
My personal opinion is when we start wandering around visiting our neighbors, they will come visit us-openly that is.

On that topic, one thing I'll never buy is the "Big Bang" theory.

Science can never prove a theory or a law. But every fact we have obtained about the formation of the universe indicates the same thing. The Big Bang. There is a reason it has been accepted into the scientific community.

In any case, I think life on earth was 'seeded' by a meterorite. Hence explaning why the growth of life on earth happened so quickly. As to what 'intelligent life' would want with our planet, Im not so sure. Perhaps they have already came, visited, and decided that this place was a wreck.

The next big step in space travel is limiting nasa to scientific missions only. No more should they be used as a commerical operation.

I think my views on this subject have already been aired. Suffice it to say, no alien in their right mind is going to set on this planet anytime soon. We are dangerous, math-retarded monkeys with enough atomic weaponry at our disposal to irridiate the surface of our homeworld, and they're all pointed right back at our own property. Earth should really have a big "Keep Off The Grass" sign mounted on the dark side of the moon.

Isn't that the truth... Boy, I really started a big one here didn't I :D
It's good to hear so many people's minds are open to this sort of thing. I still don't get people who dismiss evolution. When evidence stares you straight in the face, it's time to crack your eggshell open and grow to understand things.
Space is an awe in it's self. When we look to the stars and realize the odds of numerous possibilties, we truly understand that we are like a grain of sand on a beach that stretches for miles. I don't blame some of you in believing any intelligent beings would avoid this place. But I do hope that they don't pass us by, because maybe they could help us to better ourselves and our world before it's too late.

Oh, forgot to ask, has anybody read about the 'dark matter' phenomena in space? I remember reading about it in time magazine. Apparently, it could pose a threat to planets, or even the universe itself.

Way to be optimistic!

As for "dark matter", I have heard some theories on it... To much to post in depth right now.

We are limited by our own eyeballs to what we can see. Our eyes are recieving 'antennas' that permit only a small spectrum of 'visable light'. Perhaps "dark matter" would actually look like something if we weren't limited by our own eyes.

I hope we never see "space billboards"! The technology for it is already there.
