Thin white film

I have a thin white film floating on the thank water.... what is it??? is it harmful?? and if so is there anyway to get rid of it???

just tested the water.....ammonia, nitrite, nitrate all reading zero....

is this a planted tank? is it cycled? i would do a couple water changes that often helps clean up film off the top. another option is placing a paper towel on top and taking it out.

it is planted.... and i have been cycling for about 2 weeks.....

i have my pleco in there...i have tested the water and to day all the reading went to zero.....

prob with the plants its uptaking all the ammonia.... you can prob add another one or two fish

k cool.... i have an oscar from another tank i want to transfer over

and the white film is nothing to worry about???

oscar is going to tear the plants up. water change or use a towel to remove it.
