This is completely outrageous!!!!

ASK ALL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS IF THEY WANT HIM OR IF THEY HAVE A POND THAT THEY BUILT IN THE BACK YARD OR JUST SNEAK AROUND WHEN NO ONE IS HOME AND PUT IN A POND NOT A REAL ONE

Hmmmm, someone needs to take their :chillpill:

thats not right to just toss in a fish in a pond that isnt yours.

:iagree:

i say just keep him in your 55g, despite the temperature. I'd rather be in hot water than BE DEAD. As for carnivals giving away goldfish, my neighborhood's carnival did the same thing last year. I was outraged. I'll visit the town hall this year and threaten calling in "animal rights police" if they give away goldfish this year.

I'll keep the fish as long as I can... Is this going to mess up my adding of new fish later? I hope it doesn't

It could. At the minimum, you have increased your bio load.

Do you plan to keep it, or give it to the NSLFS when you get there next?

LOL, building and maintaining a pond is a lot of work.

Not to mention, unless properly stocked/maintained they become nasty mosquito breeding holes! >< My aunt had a lily pond like that. *shivers*

Even well maintained ones can have problems...a wild snake came along and devoured our frogs and at least some of the fish.

I don't think that is a problem when properly researched and set up. We are always here to help!
