LOL....did you read the article H3D? or skim?? It states in the article that the driver was "FORCED" to stop.....lol....I dont call that irresponsible driving, i call that being out of your control...

Forced by whom? No one. He was forced to stop by the traffic. Which implies he was in some way driving irresponsibly. There is rarely an occurrence where one is forced by someone else to stop in an intersection.

What's really disgusting is that this type of thing no longer shocks me. I will not even watch the news anymore, I am afraid of it. I mean really how much atrocity can you bombard me with before I am completely desensitized and apathetic? Here's a general thought....teach the world to trade dominion for conscience and we would watch most of our problems wash away.

LOL....Why are you reading into more than what is stated in the write up H3D? It states he was forced to stop, so, leave it at that.....the guy is dead, have a bit of darn respect for him eh....dang

^ x2.

I don't think there is any relevance to speculation by way of implication as to the quality of his driving.

It happens all the time where I live through no ones fault. All it takes is one car pulling out of a driveway or someone stopping short. It's rare to even hear a car horn, because everyone knows it.

'Accidental' or not, blocking an intersection is illegal and typically caused by irresponsible driving. I never said it warranted a death sentence. This is a tragedy. But don't make the driver out to be a saint. No one "forced" him to stop in an intersection as the article claims. One would think that a responsible father with two children in his car would take more care in his driving. The real lesson here is that you can avoid being a victim of road rage by driving responsibly.

 & :wall:

The article doesn't state what forced him to stop on purpose. That isn't a police report. It's not facts. It's a news story. They call them stories for a reason, because an author can make it sound any way they want.

The real concern I have is that more and more there is becoming a lack of personal responsibility and the media furthers that notion by always removing it from their stories. Tragedies like this can be avoided.

This is such a sad story, it's a horrible ending to what could have easily been just another regular day out driving.

We're all entitled to have opinions on the matter, but I must say, H3, I'm at a complete loss of words with your perspective on the matter.

I usually tend to agree that news stories only give us what tey want us to hear, but in this case, the fact is, that someone got killed for a driving situation... Even if it was completely his fault, there's absolutely no justification.

Tragedies like this should never happen in the first place... A driver shouldn't be afraid of making a bad move on the road, thinking that he might get shot at by some nutcase on the road. What ever happened to the good ol' middle finger approach??

I hope the shooter spends a very very very long time behind bars,
