Thorichthys aka Firemouths

Zebra and Giant Danios are about 2-3 dollars a pop though bro. I'll figure something out. Oh and goldfish are not hard to kill well unless your taking care of them properly lol. Thinking maybe 2-3 little goldfish if they survive then I can always move them to my 135 gallon. I unplugged the heaters from that tank during my water change and never plugged them back in. Temp has been staying in the 70's on it's own.
 
Cool deal man sorry i keep forgetting your on the west coast Danio's go for 2 for a dollar here man.. The Goldfish should be fine..
 
Yeah everything is expensive here now. Even our oscars. They use to be like $5 a pop now there $15. Fish out here are expensive and is why I buy most of my fish online. Even with shipping it normally comes out cheaper if I buy enough fish at once.
 
Yeah i have an officer in my platoon that came here from Cali and she was telling me some of the prices i about crapped my shorts when she told me about everyday normal living stuff how much it was, I guess when your in my neck of the woods you appreciate where you live when you see what others in the US have to pay.. Crazy bro.. And i hear ya on the online shopping man..
 
Yea. One pet shop has several large like 12-16" Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps and I was like dang those look nice. I've seen some at the other LFS and there 15-25 bucks a pop but not at this shop. They were looking to get 50 for the 12" ones and 75 for the 16" ones and both prices were after knocking down the price a bit for me. I was like maybe later not right now. Ended up getting a small Hypostomus and when the mom saw the price on the bag she was in shock. So was the sister who heard how much she was giving it to me for. Flirting can help bring down prices in a mom n pop shop. But yeah things are expensive out here and in my little spot there are few LFS's. See you got great prices but your weather prevents your from a year round pond. My weather would allow for a year round pond but our prices are killer.
 
Yeah i know but if the weather pattern or we as in earth have a polar shift it could be quite different LOL..
 
If that happens then according to my models you'll stay the same but California will be the new Canada and Alaska will still be Alaska. If they ever find out for sure when we will have one then during that time I think I'll be moving out your way. I like the cold but not that much lol.
 
I would love to move to Alaska be right up my alley but yeah not sure how i would handle the day and night time frames in all..
