Any tips to ensure success with a java moss wall? The java moss is sandwiched between two plastic mesh sheets that are sewn together, with suction cups to the wall. I'm dosing flourish in the tank and I have dual T5HO bulbs on my 20 gallon tank.

Flourish and Flourish excel are two completely different products.
Excel is a carbon supplement that is intended to act in place of adding CO2. The other is mainly a micronutrient addition, although it does have some NPK.

huh i didn't realize that. Thanks for the info.. so stupid question, if I add flourish excel, I wouldn't need a diy co2 system? I was thinking of adding one.
I've never been a huge fan of DIY CO2...I ended up with fluctuating CO2 levels, which isn't all that helpful, that then promoted massive BBA growth.
But on the other hand, if you get it right it will be a lot cheaper than dosing excel.
With a dual HO over a 20g (long or tall btw?) you will want to make sure you have ferts and CO2 down.

Honestly, something like that is beyond my knowledge when it comes to CO2 setups. I've never tried anything other than DIY so someone else will have to comment on the functionality.
In a 20gal, this is a perfect setup. Or with a little google search you can look into DIY Paintball Co2
much MUCH cheaper than 300.00$
