Similar footprint to a 29 just a lot taller. It's hard to find 37s now. Its a really nice tank and I had it for 5 years now.
I forget, a pair of angels? Not more; a group of corys & school of lemon (or similar...not red minors) tetras? & maybe some java ferns or anubias petite on the wood? I'm liking the wood! Or harlequin rasboras if you're not against regional mixing.

I love Harlequin Rasboras! I might do a decent school of them again. 12-15 of them. A pair f angels, I would do a trio but not sure if thats ok.

That sounds awesome! Except for more than a true pair of angels or 2 (or maybe 3? hard to sex) females...no matter, any other gender mix, there will be trouble! Corys, or loaches... guess what I'm going to say?!? Yeah, or corys, lol! Really both are fun...said the loach lover! Sidthimunkis are so entertaining but more expensive... what can I say...you get what you pay for sounds so loach snobby, lol! If you haven't tried loaches, this might be a good chance!
Instead of angels, have you considered a trio of pearl gouramis, 1 M, 2F? Just an Asian thought...bwahaha!

It's hard to find Pearl Gouramis near me right now. I'm thinking of Spotfin Corys or Juili Corys for the bottom. I had Kuhli loaches a few times, but always had them disappearing.

Yeah, Petco used to stock and include the 37s in their $1/gal sale, but they stopped for some reason.
In my 29g, I've got 6 silver hatchets, 6 celestial pearl danios, 6 julii corys and a blushing angel. It's a very active tank! Just have to keep a good hood or glass top to contain the hatchets. I've had to pick them up off the floor like a quarter and toss them back in. Only during the start of a water change thankfully. I was right there at the time. (they spook easily)
20L, 29 and 37 are the same footprint.
