Trying again

I made several guesses but I didn't think of clones , lol.

Maybe Steph's new lights are different than the early 24/7s...I'm hoping. Her remote control looks like lots of options might be possible, with a learning curve. Better for me than the smart phone controls on some, I'm a luddite...
 
I had a look again at the link, and looked at reviews.

The remote looks identical to the finnex, it looks like there is slightly less light, and the function is different. But I still have no clue about it going all the way out or not.

The only lights we have that use Bluetooth are all the Fluval 3.0 lights. And the interface is far, far easier to use than the finnex. You choose the on and off time for 4 different color channels ( blue, red, 2 types of white) and how long the dimming will take for both on and off.

You just need a smartphone or tablet to use them.

We also have a good number of wifi timers for lights and stuff.. it's pretty convenient to be able to control them from anywhere rather than having to dig around under an aquarium cabinet to change times and stuff .
