tylo snails?

I got my tylo's from Msjinkzd stock (her tank born yellow rabbits I think they are called but in truth I am not real sure- I just call them cute!! Beautiful Snails really!) they move around pretty good not as much as my Briggsi but they move- I see them in different spots all over the tank at different times sometimes on the glass sometimes on the floor of the tank sometimes just napping I guess.

They love to eat and don't seem to be bothered by my community fish or bigger Briggsi snails at all they just go about their business.

I want some more too!! It is quite the addiction!

My yellow antenna tylos are weird in the way they just leave themselves lying around--I keep worrying they are dead but they are still fine and movie aroudn especially at night! My yellow tylos tuck themselves away in corner and on plants, and generally are "right side up" even when retracted. But the yellow antenna constantly look like someone just dropped a handfull in the tank every which way. Has anyone else noticed this?

would it be better to breed these or assassin snails for selling purposes. or would brigs be more fun/profitable? i plan on some brigs anyway tho.....

Yellow antennae are definitely more light sensitive than say the golds and tend to be more inactive during the day.

As to profitability, tylos have individual young about once a month. Brigs can lay a clutch with 50-200 babies every few days. The tylos go for more, but are more difficult species and more time would be invested. Brigs are easier, but they are much messier and require alot of space to really keep them healthy. The market is also completely flooded.

Indeed. I had some extra briggs and just gave them away. There is not much demand and a lot of supply.
