I have never tried to glue anything underwater. Does that really work Khemul?
Yep. It is a mad dash, and usually looks a little off, but it does work. The stuff starts to dry instanty underwater so it is basically a matter of knowing exactly where you want it. It also tends to take on a bright white color which stands out quite a bit until the tank reclaims it.
I do it sometimes to reinforce frags. Glue the bottom, stick it in. Then use up the rest of the tube coating the perimeter. My invertibrates have a reputation for wrecking anything that is not excessively bolted down (and even then...just lost some clove polyps because the rock they were on was weakly attached to the rock I glued down. Someone walked across it and it vanished into the rockwork).
Not sure about a overly tame fish eating the stuff though. Mine are pretty good about keeping away when I'm doing work.
