Unusual Rainbows

that picture shows the bottom of the full circle that a rainbow is. most of the time the bottom of the circle is below the horizon and thus you only see the top half of the rainbow circle.
there is only a couple of places in the world where you can regularly see a rainbow as a full circle. I think near one of the volcanos in hawaii is one of those places.

My mom called things like this sun dogs, and said they meant there was going to be a change in the weather. The ones you usually see are smaller than this tho.
