Go out to the hardware store and buy a timer,they are very inexpensive.


P.S. Ditch the feeding tablet,your fish will be fine.
 
I Can't put a timer on the lights because the wire that goes from the lights connects to a unit, this unit is also connected to the pump. so if i put a timer on the hours of which the lights are off the pump will also be off.

Well.....Go out and buy an extension cord,those are cheap too.
 
I beleive what Flagfish is telling us is that there is one cord for both the light and the filter and if it were plugged into a timer, it would not only turn the light on and off, but the filter as well.
