Video of my 11inch Bala

Actually I was thinking of one or two banjo or whiptailed catfish.

Very interesting looking (like a leaf on the bottom of the tank, camoflauged). I've wanted some for awhile... You would want to get a small one so it could grow with your smaller bala and not pose a danger to it. I hear they're great at taking care of uneaten food.

Hmmm.. just doing some research now that I'm talking about them, and it seems most species are mostly brackish. Also, they get much larger than the guy at the LFS said (imagine that!).

I do think you could go a little more ambitious than oto cats in a tank that size. Anyone else have recommendations or know if there is a small, fully FW species of whiptailed cats? I'm interested in finding out more myself.

:D

uuummm.... didn't you say you had a pleco in there already, fishmonkey?

A Pleco You say

I did have a Pleco Catch22. A friend came over and saw the shark show and really liked the Pleco. He just stood up a 90G and the Pleco ended up riding shot gun to his new home. The Pleco is doing very well in the 90G now.
