Every time I purchase fish or plants at wal-mart, they are dying, sick, or newly arrived - probably shipped straight from the wild. Every fish I have purchased from wal-mart died within 1 week. Anyone have horror stories to share from bad dealers? How do you go about finding a good source of healthy fish, and an honest dealer? Ideally, I want to buy healthy fish from a breeder.
All the good-looking plants from wal-mart are packed into a tiny container with some kind of wool that takes hours and damage to the plant to remove, not to mention a few snails that quickly reproduce. Yada yada yada... I'm just a little ticked off with my experiences at that store and I thought I might warn others, though that is probably well known anyhow...
