Wanted.....aponogeton bulbs

I can not find them here, and I was told by someone here they get them at there walmart 6 for 1.00 . If any of you can get me these, ( I would like 24 if there 6 for 1.00 and i will pay for the bulbs, the shipping and a few dollars for your time. thanks.

I found them at Petco. Nobody local sells them here either.


Warning is about 1/4 of them turned out to be duds. I should send them in for replacements sometime.

I have them growing in my betta tank and the bettas love them. They will sometimes hop on top of the leaves.

Yes I read there can be duds, I do not have a petco, or petsmart. my local walmart does nto carry them. I figure getting 24 will insure me of having at least 75 % good ones

I bought a few packs,2 different kinds of them bulbs from Walmart,not a one did anything but lay there on the bottom,unless the half that ended up floating count for something..as cheap as they are I may get some more..They weren't no $1 a pack though as far as I remember

there bulbs , not seeds.

all you do is drop them in the tank,you dont plant them.
suppose to grow(package says 6"-8" in 15 days;they've been in the tanks for 2 months

before you actually buy the pack think to yourself if you will actually want them in the future. It was fun watching all bulbs grow (2 out of 6 didnt make it) and i previously posted in other thread show what came out after a month.. well now all the plants are 4-5x that size and though some look nice the aponogeton takes over the tank quickly (atleast for me). from the bulbs what i have now are 2 aponogetons one around 11" other around 23"+ with 5 flowers that bloomed.. And i have 2 dwarf lilies (Nymphaea Stellata) that are just growing crazy big brown leafs.. looks nice but would probably suggest it more for a big tank since these plants will tend to block some light..
